Terms of Use

These Terms explain the rules for using Locker Room and what users can expect from the platform.

Last updated: August 20, 2026

1. About Locker Room

Locker Room is a community review platform where users can share ratings, reviews, and experiences related to junior hockey teams and coaches.

Reviews and ratings are submitted by individual users. They represent the opinions and experiences of those users and do not necessarily reflect the views of Locker Room.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally permitted to use this service in your location and able to agree to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use the service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that occurs through your account. You may not impersonate another person, create accounts for deceptive purposes, or misuse another person's identity.

3. Reviews and other user content

You are responsible for the content you submit. Reviews should reflect your genuine experience or opinion and should be relevant to the team, coach, or topic being reviewed.

You may not post content that is knowingly false or misleading, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, defamatory, illegal, spam, or intended to manipulate ratings.

Do not post private or sensitive information about another person, including home addresses, personal phone numbers, private email addresses, financial information, medical information, passwords, verification codes, or other information that could put someone's privacy or safety at risk.

4. Your content and our use of it

You keep ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you give Locker Room a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, format, and distribute that content as needed to operate, improve, promote, and protect the service.

This license continues for content that remains on the platform after account deletion, including reviews that are anonymized and displayed as coming from a deleted user.

5. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, hide, remove, restrict, or preserve content when we believe it violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, the law, or the safety and integrity of the platform.

We may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate our rules, attempt to manipulate reviews, abuse platform features, evade restrictions, or interfere with the service.

6. Teams, coaches, leagues, and affiliations

References to teams, coaches, leagues, organizations, logos, or other hockey-related entities are for identification and informational purposes.

Unless we explicitly say otherwise, Locker Room is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially connected with the teams, coaches, leagues, or organizations discussed on the platform.

7. Accuracy and reliance on reviews

User reviews are subjective and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, disputed, or unrepresentative of another person's experience.

Locker Room does not verify every statement made by users and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of reviews, ratings, rankings, or other user-submitted information.

You should use your own judgment and independent research when making recruiting, playing, coaching, financial, travel, or other decisions.

8. Prohibited use

You may not use Locker Room to:

  • harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or target another person;
  • publish private information or attempt to identify anonymous users;
  • coordinate fake reviews or manipulate ratings;
  • access accounts, systems, or data without authorization;
  • scrape, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attack the service;
  • use automated systems to create accounts or submit abusive content;
  • use the service for unlawful or fraudulent activity.

9. Service availability

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features of Locker Room at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Locker Room is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Locker Room and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from user content, reliance on reviews, account activity, service interruptions, or interactions with third parties.

11. Account deletion

You may delete your account through the account settings available in the app. Certain content you previously submitted may remain on the platform in anonymized form so that historical reviews and ratings are not removed solely because an account was deleted.

Additional details about how account and review data are handled are described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform changes. When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app or another reasonable method.

Continuing to use Locker Room after updated Terms take effect means you agree to the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Locker Room, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local law requires otherwise.

We will update this section with the appropriate business jurisdiction before public launch.

14. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the Contact Support page in Locker Room.

Before public launch, these Terms should be reviewed for the final business entity, operating jurisdiction, and contact information.
